Valves Test Rig

TEMES valve.teq

Using the TEMES valve.teq, type tests of valves can be performed. Testing can be carried out according to industry standards such as:

  • API 624
  • API 641
  • EN ISO 15848-1 or
  • VDI 2240 or

individually defined test procedures.

The tightness and function of stem seals and body-bonnet joint seals are major objects of investigations. Friction forces during stem actuation are monitored as well as leakage rates for different sealing materials and assembly conditions.

Valves test rig TEMES valve.teq

The test rig TEMES valve.teq consists of a mechanical assembly (base frame with clamping device), an electric stem drive mechanism, a heating and cooling device, a control cabinet, a leakage device (standard: pressure decay), a PC and monitor. Several other optional leak detection methods are available.

Electrical heating is available for temperatures up to 400 °C / 750 °F.

Leakage tests can be performed with internal pressures up to 200 bar / 2,900 psi within the full temperature range. TEMES valve.teq is prepared for different leakage measurement methods: EPA Method 21, differential pressure decay, a Helium leak detector or a flame ionization detector (FID) are options to meet your requirements.

Computer-based data logging enables comprehensive monitoring of all relevant variables. Individual online diagrams and alphanumerical indicators are available for online monitoring of test procedures. Data storage is compatible with MS Excel for customer-specific or application-specific reporting.

Tests can be performed manually or automatically (computer controlled). Predefined test procedures are available that can be modified or upgraded individually.
